Looking for a trained professional to come to your door to notarize your documents?

Meet Jon Gorosh.

I LOVE what I do.  A stellar Signing Agent is so much more than just knowing which documents to sign and date.  Punctuality is not arriving at the scheduled starting time but by arriving early.  So the signer is aware what they are signing, each document is explained.

By actively listening, rapport is established to build trust and communication during the signing process.  These are the steps I take to ensure smooth and efficient signings EVERY time.

Looking For A Trained Professional? Jon is a NNA Certified Notary Signing Agent, Loan Signing Agent, Certified Reverse Mortgage Signing Professional, TRID trained, Trusted Enrollment Agent, and Certified by www.123notary.com.  Annually Background Screened by NNA. He also has a Lexmark XM3150 dual-tray laser printer and laptop.

Contrary to popular belief, notaries do not notarize documents, they notarize signatures. They are required to do the following:.

Examine Document

Examine the document for completeness.

Notarial certificate

Check the notarial certificate  to be in compliance with state law, if there is one preprinted. Identify the document signer.

Confirm Signers

Confirm the signers’ capacity to understand the document: Notaries can witness signatures even if they are not familiar with the language on the document. However, they must be able to communicate with the signer.

Oath/Affirmation

Administer the Oath/Affirmation or take the Acknowledgment.

signature

Complete the Notarial Certificate by updating the venue if necessary, dating, confirming correct spelling of the signer(s), my signature, and imprint Notary seal.

Mailing address

1000 Farrah Lane, Apt 736, Stafford, Texas 77477

I am entirely a Mobile Notary service and do not have an office where I see clients.

Notarial Act

Sometimes the notarial wording is not found on the document you need notarized.  Such examples might be handwritten or private documents.  When this happens, the signer should ask the receiving agency – what type of notarization they need. The signer may also seek advice from an attorney or choose the act themselves.  Signer then instructs the Notary to add either an acknowledgement which proves you signed the document or a Jurat where the signer swears/affirms what they signed is true.

A notary who is not an attorney cannot decide what type of notarial act a document requires for that would be “practicing law.” The customer must know and tell the notary.

ID Requirements

The State of Texas requires notaries to verify the identification of every signer. Only valid, non-expired identification, with a photograph is acceptable. These Guidelines are set by the State of Texas, and can be found on the Secretary of State’s website, and are not at the discretion of your Notary.  Also, see https://www.dps.texas.gov/internetforms/getForm.ashx?id=DL-17.pdf

If a signer cannot provide acceptable form(s) of identification, then a witness can be provided, by the signer, who can vouch for the identity of the signer.  The witness MUST be able to provide one or more forms of valid identification to prove their identity, and must be able to vouch for the identity of the signer, under Oath.

In Texas, a credible witness must either personally know the Notary or must present to the Notary a valid, unexpired ID issued by the Federal or a State government that contains the photo and signature of the witness (1 TAC 87.40[2] and 87.1[1]).

A credible witness must know the signer well enough to be able to swear or affirm the signer’s identity before the Notary.

Client’s Reviews and Comments

What My Clients Say?

I contacted Jon Gorosh with Always Accurate Notary this morning looking for a local mobile Notary to assist with my Form I-9. My new employment starts today and my employer only gave me a short period of time to have the I-9 completed. I was frustrated how difficult it was to find someone that is knowledgeable and willing to help. After finding Jon on Google My Business, we met just a few hours later at a convenient location close to me. Jon was punctual and observant to the details on how to complete the Form. He also extended the courtesy for a follow up, at no cost, if my employer had an issue with the paperwork. I do recommend using Always Accurate Notary for quality work.

I have utilized Always Accurate Notary three times this past year (2021-2022) for Will and estate planning ceremonies. These assignments have either been at my law office or at my client's personal residence. Jon, as my representative, has been prompt, professional and patient with me and my clients during these assignments. When you want to grow and maintain your business, it's important to work with trustworthy and reliable people. Jon is one of those people, and I consider him an informal member of my legal team. I highly recommend that you call Always Accurate Notary for your notary needs.
We first reached out to Always Accurate Notary a few months ago to notarize various business documents. Since November, Always Accurate Notary has now become our go-to notary. Jon’s office is nearby and he is very prompt, punctual, and reliable, even with short notice. Some documents require adherence to our business partners specific instructions for which Jon has been very helpful to provide at no additional fee. We are pleased with Jon’s notarial assistance and highly recommend others to contact Always Accurate Notary for reliable work.
